Job summary

Beach Road Precision Manufacturing is seeking a Foreman / Drill Operator to lead an underground utility and drilling crew in Winder, GA. You will operate horizontal directional drills, guide the crew on-site, and ensure safe, on-time, quality project delivery.

The role requires hands-on HDD experience, leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage equipment and safety protocols in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience acting as a lead hand, foreman, or crew supervisor on construction or utility installation.
• Minimum 2–4 years hands-on experience operating directional drills and locating underground utilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; lift heavy objects; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal directional drill rigs and related equipment to place underground utilities.
• Lead the crew and supervise on-site operations.
• Track drill depth and avoid existing utilities using locating equipment.
• Lead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and enforce OSHA safety rules.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor repairs on drill rigs and support trucks.
• Record daily production progress and project logs for management.
