Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific/environmental field or equivalent training.
• At least one year in environmental, scientific or construction field.
• Licensure requirements or ability to obtain Vermont Lead licenses within 3 months.
• Experience with bid/contract document preparation and government procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lead hazard reduction and healthy homes projects to meet quarterly benchmarks.
• Coordinate with property owners, tenants, and consultants on lead projects.
• Schedule projects and work with Vermont Health Dept. to expedite work on affected properties.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with HUD and health regulations.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and invoicing for multiple projects.
• Coordinate lead risk assessments and inspections with testing labs and consultants.
