Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the PCAS Harness and Interconnect organization to support harness development, build, and verification for tactical missile programs. You will contribute to detailed mechanical design, testing, systems engineering, and proposals with autonomy and strategic impact.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering, experience with harness/interconnect devices, and proficiency in Creo/ECAD tools, GD&T, and mixed-signal harness design.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing and/or modifying Harness and/or Interconnect devices.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously with expert knowledge of the harness and interconnect domain and contribute to organizational strategies.
• Support includes detailed mechanical design, test design and execution, systems engineering, proposals and estimates, or earned value management.
• Flex responsibilities based on current organizational needs and skill sets.
