Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect to define the architecture for the next-generation satellite user terminal. This role involves hardware design across various systems, ensuring that the product is high-performance and cost-optimized for mass manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, over 10 years of hardware engineering experience, and a proven track record in complex communication products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience, with 4+ years as a Principal or Lead Architect.
• Deep technical understanding of phased array physics and architecture.
• Experience architecting hardware for high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end hardware architecture for the user terminal.
• Evaluate critical components and make performance trade-offs.
• Drive the hardware through the entire product lifecycle from architecture to manufacturing.
