Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking a Sr. Manager of Hardware and Software Integration and Architecture to lead cross-functional teams in Santa Clara, CA.

You will drive system-level requirements for solar modules, inverters, energy storage, and energy management, coordinating hardware, firmware, cloud, and applications to deliver integrated solutions. The role collaborates with product management and hardware/software teams to define technical aspects of product and system requirements for next-gen

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or higher required; MS preferred.
• 10+ years in solar/hardware-software integration or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Proven track record in end-to-end system testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and development teams to define system-level requirements.
• Drive integration and system-level planning across HW, FW, SW, and cloud layers.
• Own solution-level product requirements and system software testing for alpha validation.
• Lead customer-focused UI/UX discussions and ensure delivery of best-in-class solutions.
• Manage Confluence and Jira for project documentation and tracking.
• Develop automation strategies for lab testing and reporting.
• Support pre-sales activities with product overviews and training.
