The role covers end-to-end product lifecycle leadership in high-power systems (1500–2000 V) for EV charging, solar, and data centers, with fast-paced deadlines. Candidates should have strong IGBT, SiC MOSFET, GaN design, FPGA control, and hands-on lab/testing experience, with 5+ years in power electronics and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in power electronics design, with understanding of high-frequency power stages, EMI/EMC, thermal, and protection.
• 3+ years lab testing experience and thermal testing.
• 2+ years Matlab/Simulink/SimPowerSystems experience.
• 3+ years of product development process experience.
• 2+ years experience with power electronics/control systems design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of next-generation power electronics for EV, solar, and data center applications.
• Develop high-frequency bidirectional DC-DC converters, AC-DC grid-tie inverters, and resonant converters.
• Drive concept-to-productization timelines with a fast-paced team.
• Create and validate digital control algorithms and magnetics.
• Collaborate with PCB layout and mechanical teams for high-density power designs.
• Ensure UL/CE compliance and lead EMC activities.
• Assist in budgeting and drive quality and manufacturability improvements.
