Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Andromeda Surgical is looking for our first full-time hardware engineer to own the hardware workstreams around our product and support development of our hardware products. We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience developing and shipping hardware products. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background or at least lots of time on a manufacturing line seeing things made.

Requirements:

• Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics technical background and degree.
• 5+ years of experience
• Familiarity with quality systems and engineering documentation involved
• Hands-on development experience prototyping, testing, and building hardware. Using soldering iron

Nice to Have

• Firmware and embedded experience.You won’t be required to write code, but you’ll be the bridge between hardware and an internal team of software engineers
• Medical device or FDA background and exposure to QMS systems
• Manufacturing quality and process depth
• Program/Product management experience scoping requirements, budgeting resources, and planning projects
• CAD expertise in Solidworks
