Job summary

Alpha is building the world's premier K-12 experience, and this Lead Coaching Manager role exists to assemble and lead a high-performing team of Guides, nurturing leaders and creating a culture of excellence across campuses.

You'll coach Guides, run life-skills workshops, and motivate students toward ambitious objectives while using data to drive continuous improvement and student outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative, with willingness to help open a new campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring Guides to reliably provide exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's rigorous standards.
• Facilitating dynamic life skills workshops that cultivate communication, leadership, concentration, and other practical skills for K-12 students.
• Inspiring students to pursue ambitious learning objectives and maximize advancement in their self-directed academic pathways.
• Leveraging data, observation, and coaching dialogues to enhance Guide effectiveness and student results.
• Supporting the launch and establishment of new Alpha campuses by fostering a culture rooted in excellence, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
