Job summary

Alpha is building the world's leading K-12 experience, and this Lead Guide role recruits and develops the team that executes the model—coaching Guides, cultivating leadership, and creating an environment where students routinely surpass expectations.

You will coach Guides to deliver outstanding student experiences, run life-skills workshops, and inspire students toward ambitious objectives, using data and coaching dialogues to drive impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business; Master's preferred.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more, with hiring/termination responsibility.
• Track record of using data to drive measurable performance improvements.
• Experience with children ages 5–14 in educational/coaching contexts.
• Experience establishing or launching a new team or campus; able to help open a campus from the ground up.
• Willingness to operate within a non-traditional, non-lecture model.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to reliably deliver outstanding student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Facilitate life skills workshops building communication, leadership, focus, and practical competencies for K-12 students.
• Inspire students to pursue challenging learning objectives within self-directed programs.
• Leverage data, observation, and coaching dialogues to enhance Guide effectiveness and student results.
• Support the launch and establishment of new Alpha campuses with a culture of excellence and accountability.
