Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a cashier to process merchandise and fuel transactions at its Latta, SC locations. The role includes leading a small shift, completing end-of-shift reports, and ensuring high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Pay starts between $11.33 and $15.18 per hour, with benefits like medical plans, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. This on-site position offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ability to perform end-of-shift reports and close-out procedures.
• Customer service orientation and the ability to follow company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
