Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a Lead Guest Services Attendant for the Winter seasonal 2026/2027.

You will support call center agents, answer questions on resort activities, and handle escalations with professionalism. The role includes training, supervising shifts, and coordinating housekeeping/maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous guest service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work outside on your feet in all weather conditions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • College degree is a plus.
  • Experience in lodging/hospitality/call center is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support call center agents to deliver guest service at the highest level.
  • Answer guest questions about resort activities and transfer calls.
  • Handle escalated calls and guest issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee training and development of staff.
  • Manage shifts, escalations, room moves and tasks as assigned by manager.
  • Receive and dispatch housekeeping and maintenance requests.
  • Log dispatches and coordinate with departments as needed.
  • Explain pays folios and email receipts to guests.
  • Assist guests with luggage, room moves, and accessibility needs.

Lead Guest Services Attendant

The Lead Guest Services Attendant will support the call center agents in delivering the highest level of guest service to the resort guests. This position will also answer guest questions about resort activities, transfer calls, and take guest messages. When necessary the Lead Guest Services Attendant will handle escalated calls and guest issues promptly and with the utmost professionalism.

Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until December 15th or until the positions are filled (whichever is first).

Job Specifications
  • Starting wage: $22.00/hr – $26.88/hr
  • Employment type: Winter seasonal 2026/2027

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ongoing training and development of new and existing staff
  • Supervise shifts – handling escalations, room moves, team needs, and tasks assigned by the manager
  • Receive housekeeping requests from guests, owners, and employees and dispatch them to the appropriate housekeeping department
  • Receive maintenance requests from guests, owners, and employees and dispatch them to the appropriate Property Management office and log all calls
  • Dispatch emergency services per established procedures, log all dispatches and contact additional agencies/resources as needed
  • Explain guest pay folios over the telephone and email receipts
  • Complete shift duties, follow procedures to ensure completion, pass to next shift as necessary
  • Assist owners and guests with luggage, room moves, wheelchairs, cribs and rollaway beds
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in guest service
  • Ability to work outside on your feet in all weather conditions for long periods of time
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • College degree – preferred
  • Previous experience in lodging/hospitality/call center – preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience – preferred

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr – $26.88/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
