The Lead Guest Room Attendant coordinates room cleaning, inspects housekeeping performance, and maintains clear communication with the supervisor and team to ensure high-quality guest experiences.

The role requires hands-on cleaning, bed making, bathroom sanitation, log keeping, safety adherence, and courteous guest interactions during each shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in dusty, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, mops and brooms.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and storage/employee areas as directed by Housekeeping Team leader or Supervisor.
• Makes beds according to standards.
• Dusts, and cleans windows/mirrors.
• Vacuum and clean carpeted areas and behind furniture.
• Cleans bathrooms including floors, sinks, toilets, and bathtubs.
• Supplies rooms with amenities and linens.
• Ensures every room is set up according to standards.
• Keeps workstation stocked with chemicals, sheets, pillowcases, towels and all amenities.
• Fills out daily housekeeping logs.
• Updates room status via telephone as directed to do so.
• Turns in lost and found items for logging.
• Greets guests with proper salutation and pleasant expression.
• Maintains and cleans all equipment used during shift.
• Follows safety procedures including Bloodborne Pathogens and PPE.
• Identifies safety concerns or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.
• Adheres to departmental and company policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
