Job summary

The Courtland Grand in Atlanta is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, coordinate staff, and ensure a consistently clean guest environment. You will train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing room cleaning, public areas, and back-of-house areas, addressing guest requests, and ensuring efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff with open communication, training, coaching and feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance and address disciplinary needs as appropriate.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back-of-house to meet cleanliness and guest-satisfaction standards.
• Assign tasks to staff to ensure smooth housekeeping operations and manage special requests.
• Distribute supplies at shift start to control inventory and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Log Lost and Found items and answer inquiries to maintain control.
• Implement emergency procedures to protect guests and staff.
• Adhere to attendance rules and perform other duties as assigned.
