Job summary

Under Armour in Baltimore is seeking a Lead, GTM Operations to drive the Go To Market process for the Americas. You will align strategy, remove bottlenecks, and coordinate functions to support product go‑live readiness within the Go To Marketing operating model.

The role requires 5+ years across marketing, merchandising, sales, or operations, plus strong communication, PowerPoint/Excel, and experience with Lucid, Smartsheet, Loop and Canva.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, DTC, Planning, Operations, Strategy or Consulting for consumer goods.
  • Proven cross‑functional project management experience from ideation to execution.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (Lucid, Smartsheet, Loop, Canva).
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define seasonal GTM strategy with calendar milestones, charter and RACI; enable decisions and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate channel milestone logistics (catering, swag, hotel, attendee lists, invites).
  • Lead biweekly cross‑functional channel communications with inputs from partners.
  • Manage weekly calendar updates across partner functions and calendars.
  • Track regional launches and provide analytics insights to improve future launches.

Purpose of Role

The Lead, GTM Operations will be responsible for driving the Go To Market operating process for the Americas cross‑functional teams, leading to alignment and seamless market delivery. This role is responsible for aligning strategy, elevating and solving for bottlenecks and dictating the tempo of the operating model. This role will also focus on coordinating the multiple functions to support product go‑live readiness as a key component of the Go To Marketing operating model.

Your Impact
  • DEFINE SEASONAL GTM STRATEGY: Outline and evolve DTC Channel Go‑To‑Market Calendar Milestones, Charter and RACI's; Workshop Inputs, Outputs, Decisions Needed for each Milestone; Enable meeting decisions / follow‑ups needed; Execute Milestone Needs for Channel; Hindsight previous seasons challenges & opportunities.
  • ACCOUNT & REGIONAL MILESTONE EXECUTION: Partner within the GTM team to manage Milestone Pre, During and Post Event Logistics, inclusive of Catering, Swag, Hotel, Attendee Lists, Calendar Invites, External Contracts.
  • CHANNEL COMMUNICATION: Lead biweekly communication by gathering key inputs from cross‑functional partners ensuring the latest information is shared in a streamlined and organized way.
  • CALENDAR MANAGEMENT: Weekly channel operational management to ensure key dates are updated and communicated within partner functional calendars.
  • REGIONAL PRIORITY LAUNCH TRACKING: Operationalize weekly round table to ensure on‑time launch of Priority Product & Campaigns. Clearly identify and drive accountability with cross‑functional partners. Partner with Analytics to support quarterly insights to impact future launches.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience within any of the following areas: Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Direct to Consumer, Planning, Operations, Strategy, Consulting for consumer goods. Knowledge within multiple functions preferred.
  • Studies in Operations, Business administration or any related career.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge on Project Management tools, inclusive of LUCID, Smartsheet, Loop and Canva.
  • Proven cross‑functional business process management and project management experience, building a project from ideation to execution.
  • Outstanding people and relationship skills and ability to interact with different levels of a cross‑functional, international organization, consultative and collaborative style.
  • High level of organization: ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in compressed timeframe situations with attention to detail.
  • Critical and logical thinking: mainly to locate problems, oversee the situation from different points of view to propose the best solution.
  • Negotiation skills: interactions will be cross‑functional and cross‑countries. Important to give guidance on the process but at the same time sharing an empathic thinking.
  • Analytical skills: responsible for analysis of launch program readiness and downstream impacts.
  • Creative thinking and excellent problem‑solving skills: think outside the box! be able to solve problems in a new way, seeing past what is established and create a new way of doing things.
Workplace Location
  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in‑office per week.
  • Travel: 5‑10%

Base Compensation

$100,000.00–$135,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
