Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, seeks a Fleet Mechanic at our Dulles, VA site. You will maintain and service all Ground Service Equipment, ensuring safe, compliant operation at the station in all weather.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a mechanical background, with strong communication. Travel to assist other stations may be required; overtime during weather events is possible.

Formación

• Valid driver's license required.
• Trade school training or mechanical background preferred.
• Good oral and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel for training or to assist other SP stations as needed.
• Willing to work in all weather and maintain a safe workshop.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and drive all types of GSE equipment, motorized or non-motorized.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules on ground support equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot GSE issues and ensure safe operation.
• Learn hydraulic systems; participate in deicing and snow/ice response.
• Document maintenance/repair work per SP and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clean, safe GSE shop and comply with safety guidelines.
• Liaise with Ramp management, customers and staff professionally.
