FairSquare Europe Limited is seeking a Lead Growth Data Scientist to oversee data collection, storage, and interpretation, delivering insights to improve business operations. You will partner with leaders to identify key data points, align data definitions, build organized repositories, and craft reports detailing behavior, predictions, and proposals for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a data science role with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience building and deploying recommendation systems and live models.
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL; strong understanding of ML algorithms and statistics.
• Experience with SQL databases and version control practices (Git).
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Financial/FinTech or credit space experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, storage, and interpretation to provide actionable insights.
• Partner with leaders to define key data points and align data definitions.
• Develop models to automate and improve business decisions.
• Monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure statistical validity.
• Mentor other data scientists and contribute to R&D for analytics platform.
• Prepare reports detailing behavior, predictions, and proposals for stakeholders.
