FairSquare in San Diego, Atlanta, or New York seeks a Lead Data Scientist to build predictive growth and marketing models with production deployment and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of data science or ML experience, with production-modeling experience.
• Strong programming and SQL skills; experience deploying and monitoring models.
• Experience leading end-to-end data science projects and mentoring others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data science projects from business questions to deployment.
• Build targeting, propensity, and conversion models for growth channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, credit risk, sales, product, and engineering.
• Monitor model performance, drift, and data quality in production.
• Mentor other data scientists and raise modeling standards.
