Athens-Clarke County Grounds Division is seeking a Landscape Grounds Supervisor to oversee maintenance crews and inmate workers, ensuring quality grounds care across facilities. The role requires coordinating daily activities, training staff, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising landscape grounds staff and inmates when applicable.
• Ability to train, evaluate, counsel and discipline staff and complete performance appraisals.
• Knowledge of landscape management, irrigation systems and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Landscape Grounds Workers, community service workers, volunteers and inmates as assigned.
• Trains and evaluates staff, assigns work, and conducts performance appraisals.
• Prepares daily work reports and equipment/service records.
• Operates and maintains heavy equipment and landscape machinery.
