Job summary

Ironcore Construction is hiring a Multifamily Construction Superintendent to lead on-site delivery of multifamily projects in California. You will partner with executives, superintendents, managers, and subcontractors to manage budget, schedule, quality, and safety while taking ownership of project outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, accountability, and collaboration with design and field teams to meet aggressive schedules and high standards.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction.
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of wood-frame and podium-style construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• LIHTC experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects.
• Drive the project schedule and proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure construction conforms to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Conduct daily site inspections focused on safety, quality, cleanliness, and progress.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and safety briefings.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Partner with Project Managers to coordinate field and office operations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and field records.
• Monitor project costs and support budget and cost controls.
