Job summary

gpac is seeking an Estimator to support ground-up exterior commercial projects. You will develop comprehensive cost estimates, review documents, assess risks, and engage with clients, owners and engineers to ensure accurate bids.

The role requires at least 5+ years of commercial estimating experience, proficiency in Timberline and MS Office, and strong organizational and communication skills. On-site work in Massachusetts with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience estimating Commercial construction projects.
• 5+ years estimating all divisions of large scale Commercial Ground-Up projects >$2M.
• Strong knowledge of estimating principles including reviewing conceptual estimates.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and assess project risks.
• Understand logistics and project schedule.
• Develop cost estimates for at-risk projects including materials, labor, equipment and general conditions.
• Perform pre-construction duties and participate in client meetings with owners and engineers.
• Maintain a historical database of costs.
