Job summary

Valtex LLC in Southwest Florida is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to lead ground-up operations on multi-site projects in Fort Myers. You will drive all phases from mobilization through owner handoff, coordinating trades and ensuring safety and quality on schedule and budget.

The role requires 5+ years on ground-up commercial projects, reading complex drawings, and leadership across diverse crews. Procore or MS Project skills and a valid driver’s license are essential for regional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle commercial construction from foundations to finishes.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractor trades across active sites.
• Reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to travel to regional projects in Southwest Florida.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a bilingual English/Spanish environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all ground-up commercial construction operations from site mobilization through final owner handoff.
• Coordinate diverse subcontractor trades daily to maintain budgets and timelines.
• Review drawings to resolve conflicts before they delay progress.
• Direct daily site logistics, scheduling, material deliveries, inspections, and permits.
• Maintain site records including daily logs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Enforce site safety with weekly meetings and toolbox talks.
