Sonoma County Library is seeking a talented Graphic Arts Designer to transform ideas into compelling visuals across campaigns, events, and digital content. You will shape the library’s story through print and digital materials, ensuring accessibility and high quality.

This role collaborates across departments, mentors Graphics staff, and works with vendors to deliver timely results. The position offers a full-time schedule at 40 hours per week, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to

Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college with major coursework in fine arts, graphic design, web design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Three (3) years of graphic design experience, web design, and/or development of public education materials. Lead or supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

Plan, design, and prepare visual materials for library programs, publications, and signage.
Direct, schedule, train, and review work of Graphics staff; coordinate with vendors and partners.
Create original artwork and illustrations for promotional collateral and campaigns.
Produce a variety of marketing materials including banners, posters, flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and maintain production quality in prepress and printing.
