Job summary

County of Sonoma's Regional Parks Department seeks a Sign Shop Graphics Intern to support design, pre-production, fabrication, and installation of park signage and displays. You will work with Adobe Creative Suite to develop signage and wayfinding solutions.

The position offers hands-on experience in a production studio with large-format printers and cutting equipment, under staff guidance, to build a professional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support design, pre-production, fabrication, and installation of park signage, interpretive displays, banners, and other visual materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Gain hands-on experience with large-format printers, vinyl cutters, plotters, laminators, and other equipment.
• Work with staff to develop creative signage and wayfinding solutions for park visitors.
