Job description

About Ultralytics:

At Ultralytics, we commit to relentless innovation in the AI space and seek team members who resonate with our ambition to produce the world's best YOLO AI models. If you're obsessed with AI, eager to make an impact on the world, and thrive in dynamic, high-intensity environments, we invite you to apply for a position on our team.

Who we are

At Ultralytics, we're on a mission to simplify AI for everyone. As the creators of the world's leading Ultralytics YOLO models, we empower millions of developers, researchers, and companies worldwide to build state-of-the-art computer vision applications. Following our $30M Series A round, we're expanding rapidly across our global hubs in London and Madrid. This is an opportunity to join a fast-scaling, high-performance team that's redefining the future of vision AI — where ambition meets impact, and ideas become reality. We move fast. We build boldly. We execute with purpose. And we do it together. To get a feel for what we build, explore our Docs, YOLO models, and production-ready Guides.

About the role

As Lead Graphic Designer, you'll be the visual engine behind Ultralytics' storytelling — turning complex vision AI into design that feels human, inspiring, and bold. You’ll own the creation of high-impact marketing and event assets across digital and print, helping our products and community stand out everywhere they appear. You’ll lead end-to-end creative production for campaigns, website and social visuals, motion content, decks, flyers, merchandise, and booth displays — ensuring every touchpoint reflects our craft and speed. You’ll also help implement our upcoming brand refresh in partnership with an external agency, translating new guidelines into scalable systems that the team can execute daily. You’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Product, and Creative to scope needs, align on priorities, and deliver work that supports adoption of Ultralytics tools — from the open-source ecosystem on GitHub to the developer experience across our Documentation and Community. This role is ideal for a fast-moving design leader who brings structure and taste, thrives with ownership, and can ship exceptional work at startup speed.

What you'll do
End-to-end creative production

Own projects from concept to final delivery across digital, print, and event design.

  • Design digital campaigns, social content, and optimized web graphics for ultralytics.com.
  • Produce presentations, announcements, and communications assets that clarify technical value.
  • Build sales and marketing collateral that supports solutions and product adoption.
  • Create event branding, booth displays, signage, and print-ready production files.
  • Deliver motion graphics and short-form video assets that elevate the story.
Design strategy & leadership
  • Partner with Growth and Product leadership to scope needs and prioritize impact.
  • Run competitive and industry research to inform creative direction and alignment.
  • Lead brand stewardship to keep our identity consistent across every channel.
Cross-functional collaboration & quality
  • Collaborate with Creative, Product, and Marketing to ship cohesive, on-brand work.
  • Own design QA to ensure accuracy, consistency, and polish before anything goes live.
Skills and experience
Core requirements
  • 6–8 years of graphic design experience in a fast-paced tech, AI, or startup environment.
  • A strong portfolio spanning brand, marketing, events, and multi-format execution.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong Figma skills for UI collaboration, components, and rapid iteration.
  • Confident in motion design and editing for dynamic, short-form content.
  • Hands-on with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., ComfyUI, Midjourney, image/video generators and editors) and curiosity to apply them responsibly in a production design pipeline.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts (e.g., YOLO and vision AI workflows) into clear visuals.
  • Exceptional time management with a structured approach to multitasking and delivery.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well, takes feedback, and iterates quickly.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable with evolving priorities and high accountability.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging tech (deep technical background not required).
Nice to have
  • Experience designing for open-source or developer-first brands (e.g., Ultralytics on GitHub).
  • Experience creating visuals for documentation and technical content (Docs).
  • Familiarity with 3D workflows (e.g., Blender/C4D) for product and event visuals.
  • Experience supporting community-led programs or forums like our Community.
