Job summary

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation’s Performing Arts Program seeks a Program Officer to advance the Artists, Communities, and Youth strategies. You will manage roughly one third of the program’s grantmaking portfolio and lead the Artists strategy, working with grantees, colleagues, and the broader arts community in the Bay Area and beyond.

• Lead and manage a substantial portion of the Performing Arts program's grantmaking portfolio.
• Serve as the lead for the Artists strategy, stewarding relationships with artists and arts organizations across disciplines.
• Collaborate with the Performing Arts team and other Foundation staff to implement program plans and strategy.
• Engage with regional arts ecosystems and national trends to inform program planning and strategy execution.
