Job summary

Caton Construction Group in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Grade Foreman for bridge and roadway mass earthwork. You will organize and lead a grading crew, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate schedules with superintendents.

This full-time field role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, proven foreman experience, and willingness to travel for local/overnight stays. Workweek typically Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as construction foreman.
• Diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grading work according to priorities and plans.
• Plan, organize and lead grading crew.
• Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance.
• Supervise and train workers and tradespeople.
• Ensure safety precautions and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment use and manage budgets.
• Report progress to managers and engineers.
