Job summary

Neuberger Berman in New York seeks a seasoned leader to drive GP reporting, carry program oversight, and data governance for private markets. You will lead a team, partner across Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology, and shape the operating model as the business grows.

The role requires deep PE fund knowledge, strong Excel skills, and proven people leadership with responsibility for quarterly mark-to-market, distributions, and fund finance controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA a plus; 12–15+ years in financial services or asset management.
• Deep knowledge of PE fund structures, carry mechanics, and GP financial reporting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and evaluate direct reports; set goals and drive performance.
• Oversee GP reporting and carry program oversight; ensure alignment with HR and Legal.
• Coordinate quarterly mark-to-market valuation and fund finance routines.
• Partner with Technology on system/process enhancements and controls.
