Job summary

LGBT Great is seeking a Head of General Partner Reporting & Fund Data Governance to lead Private Equity Finance operations, including GP reporting, carry program administration, and data governance. You will manage a team of managers and senior contributors, drive strategy, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of PE financial reporting.

You will partner with Technology to modernize the PE Finance operating model, oversee control frameworks, and support quarterly and annual financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA a plus.
• 12-15+ years of progressive experience in financial services or asset management with exposure to private equity finance, carry plans, and data/reconciliation operations.
• Proven people management experience, including leading teams of managers and senior contributors.
• Deep knowledge of PE fund structures, capital calls, distributions, carry mechanics, and GP financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial data systems, controls frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Experience partnering with Technology teams on system and process enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and evaluate direct reports.
• Set team goals and priorities; conduct performance management, career development planning, and coaching for direct reports and their teams.
• Build and manage onshore and offshore capacity to support GP reporting and data operations at scale.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the PE Finance function.
• Oversee quarterly mark-to-market valuation of GP investments and related reporting.
• Oversee GL entries and related processes supporting the monthly close.
