Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced engineer to lead GNC architecture and embedded software for autonomous robotic platforms. You will integrate third-party tech, work with internal teams, and develop real-time software with an RTOS.

Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and strong systems programming are essential. The role involves developing test fixtures, modeling capabilities, data-driven validation, and collaboration with hardware and software teams across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in high assurance safety-critical GNC software development.
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture selection, design and implementation for GNC sub-systems and control schemes for autonomous robotic platforms.
Integrate technology from third-party vendors, research partners, and internal product teams.
Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS and create test/simulation fixtures for hardware-in-the-loop.
Develop modeling and simulation capabilities for data during testing and validation.
Analyze test data to verify vehicle performance and controller behavior, and debug incidents.
Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment, mentoring other engineers.
