Job summary

WEBCO MFG is hiring a Lead GMAW Fabrication Specialist to join an air‑conditioned shop environment. The role starts with reviewing prints, selecting welding methods, and running first‑article welds.

You’ll collaborate with QA, track counts, and organize your queue to ensure on‑time production while maintaining high quality. You will work Mon–Thu, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, welding mild steel, stainless, and galvannealed steel with attention to detail and throughput.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MIG (GMAW) welding/fabrication experience.
• Blueprint literacy and fluency with weld symbols.
• Proficiency welding flat, horizontal, and vertical-up positions.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise welds meeting customer specs and shop standards.
• Review prints and determine welding approach when not specified.
• Perform first-piece checks and submit to QA.
• Document production for correct part counts and traceability.
• Sequence work by difficulty and target completion to hit deadlines.
• Contribute to a safety-first culture and perform additional duties as needed.

Lead GMAW Fabrication SpecialistSchedule: Mon–Thu, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)Step onto an air‑conditioned production floor built for craftspeople and start your evening by reviewing prints, confirming weld symbols, and selecting the optimal method when the blueprint leaves it open to your judgment.
