ICON is hiring 4 Senior Global Study Manager (Sr. Project Manager)
It is a fully remote, direct hire, full-time, no travel, full benefits, position with pay up to $185k (No bonus)
Required Experience
- 7-10 years of clinical study management/project management experience
- Pharmaceutical company or FSP experience required (No CRO)
- Global clinical trial experience required; EMEA and LATAM experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of Clinical Operations and related processes
- Experience working effectively in a complex, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
- Oversight of multiple vendors
- Issue identification and resolution tracking
- Experience leading vendors, regions, study workstreams, or sub-teams independently
- CRO management experience is not required (typically managed by Lead GSMs)
Technical & Clinical Trial Management Expertise
- Experience with: Central Labs,IXRS/IRT systems, eCOA/ePRO platforms, Data Management, Query resolution, Issue management, Interim analyses
- Experience writing and reviewing: Study Monitoring Plans, Project Plans, Study Plans, Communication Plans, Escalation Plans, Related study documentation
Additional Information
Limited budget management experience is required (most of the budget managed by the Lead GSM)
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for running global clinical trials as a Sr. Project Manager
- Developing and executing project plans, focusing on achieving project goals and objectives.
- Leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify project requirements and define project scope.
- Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Driving the development of project documentation and reports to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into project management strategies.
- Contributing to organizational growth through effective project leadership and strategic planning.
