Job summary

The Forest Grove School District is seeking a Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Forest Grove High School in Oregon. The position begins March 1, 2027, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support a diverse student body.

As Head Coach, you will lead the lacrosse program, supervise staff, manage transportation and equipment, and collaborate with the Athletic Director to meet district goals and policies while promoting student-athlete growth.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of lacrosse coaching techniques and supervision of students.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to perform coaching responsibilities in line with school and district policies.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• OSAA trainings or ability to obtain them.
• Maintain integrity of confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit integrity and character at all times.
• Lead and supervise the lacrosse program in alignment with district goals.
• Recruit students to participate in the program.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and follow district procedures.
• Organize transportation and finances for contests.
• Oversee program finances, equipment, and supplies.
• Report injuries and ensure participant safety.
• Develop and implement an off-season program for athletes.
• Hire assistant coaches with support of the Athletic Director.
