Job summary

As our Gastroenterologist, you will join Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX, delivering expert care within a growing gastroenterology practice.

You will manage complex GI conditions, perform advanced endoscopy, and contribute to program growth in a community-focused setting. The role requires BC/BE status, Texas license or eligibility, and completion of ACGME residency and fellowship, plus ABMS certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain before employment.
• Completion of ACGME Gastroenterology residency and fellowship.
• American Board Certification and active BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex GI conditions.
• Contribute to growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health.
• Potentially invest and partner in a joint venture ambulatory surgery center.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
• Some on-call duties will be required.
• Work with Epic EMR system.
