Job summary

Bemana, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Lead Generator Technician to launch and grow a new service operation in the Austin market. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that keeps you in the field while guiding a growing team.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and expanding the service operation; mentoring technicians; and working with municipal, university, and commercial clients. Excellent earnings potential and career growth await.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience servicing commercial standby generators.
• Experience with PMs, diagnostics, and load bank testing.
• Diesel and/or natural gas engine knowledge; ATS experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in field service; leadership interest encouraged.

Job description

We are recruiting a Lead Generator Technician to help launch and grow a new service operation in the Austin, TX market. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior‑level generator technician who wants to take on a leadership role while remaining hands‑on in the field.

Position Offers

• Up to $55/hour depending on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we may be able to request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

• Perform PMs, load bank testing, troubleshooting, and emergency service

Requirements

• 5+ years experience servicing commercial standby generators
• Experience performing PMs, diagnostics, and load bank testing
• Diesel and/or natural gas engine knowledge
• ATS experience required; switchgear is a plus
• Experience with generator controllers
• Ability to work independently in a field service role
• Leadership experience or interest in growing into a lead technician role preferred
