Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Lead General Utility Worker to oversee maintenance and cleanliness of front and back of house facilities. The role includes supervising utility staff and ensuring all dishes and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on prior experience to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• May serve as an informal resource for less experienced staff.
• Knowledge of proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment (steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, dishwashing).
• Solid understanding of basic sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Trains and guides utility staff on duties and safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintains and cleans all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and kitchen utensils.
• Cleans and maintains dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas.
• Ensures equipment is clean and operational; reports issues to management.
• Performs light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and food safety procedures.
