Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Foreman to lead General Trades self-perform operations on a major project in Charleston, South Carolina. This field supervisor role focuses on safety, quality, schedule, and coordination across interior and finish work.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise craft labor, manage subcontractors, and maintain daily field reports, while enforcing OSHA standards and coordinating with the CM team and trade partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to supervise craft workers and field crews in a construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Interiors/General Trades construction scope: interior specialties, Division 10, rough carpentry, and related work.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute from construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; able to represent Barton Malow in meetings with owner groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all Barton Malow craft labor and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain daily field schedules and coordinate sequencing of work with the project team and other trade partners.
• Attend weekly and bi-weekly team meetings; represent Barton Malow professionally and arrive prepared with accurate field status.
• Identify and communicate schedule conflicts and access constraints to the Project Manager immediately.
• Manage site logistics related to assigned scope of work.
