Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead General Trades and Interiors on a major Charleston project. You will supervise craft labor, coordinate with the project team, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

The role reports to the Project Manager and requires oversight of field operations, coordination with subcontractors, and a focus on interior finishes. This is a full-time field leadership position based in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Supervise, direct, and develop craft workers and field crews on site.
• Read, interpret, and execute work from construction drawings, specs, and shop drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; represent Barton Malow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all Barton Malow craft labor and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain daily field schedules and coordinate sequencing of work with project team and other trades.
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly team meetings and report field status accurately.
• Identify schedule conflicts and access constraints to Project Manager immediately.
• Oversee site logistics related to assigned scope of work.
