Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Lead Technical Specialist to manage engine and compressor maintenance, emissions testing, and program oversight. You will lead operators and repair crews to ensure compliance with air permits while directing maintenance across 45 engines, 10 gas dehydration units, and related systems.

Reporting to the Manager, Compressor Operations, you will supervise installation projects, coordinate troubleshooting, and train staff on engine and compressor

Qualifications

• Experience in engine and compressor maintenance.
• Training in 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
• Ability to lead maintenance programs and coordinate teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct operators and repair crews to run, tune, and service engines to meet emissions standards.
• Conduct in-house emissions testing and performance analysis of engines and compressors.
• Oversee annual trailer emissions tests conducted by contractors.
• Lead the Compression Group maintenance program to meet specifications for scheduled services.
• Provide technical expertise for engine and compressor repairs and major overhauls.
