Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain gas compression equipment in the Odessa, Texas region on a rotational schedule. The role requires interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

You will work with prime movers, valves, pumps, and related systems while keeping meticulous records and participating in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant industry experience for Level C, 2–4 years for Level B, 4+ years for Level A/Lead.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for USDOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station equipment and plant facilities to meet production needs.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Provide budgetary info, schedule outages, order materials, and maintain inventory.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely in various environments.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and required documentation.
