Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a Lead Service Technician to maintain and service our natural gas compression equipment across multiple sites. The role reports to the Area Service Manager and emphasizes autonomy, safety, and customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in gas compression, CAT/Ariel/Cummins experience, and strong teaching and communication skills. Travel up to 90% and a safety-first culture are central to the position.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of experience in gas compression, preference for CAT, Ariel and Cummins.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to teach and develop Field Service Technicians; work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead Field Service Technicians and mentor their technical and professional development.
Conduct scheduled maintenance, major maintenance, and advanced diagnostic repairs.
Ensure unit runtime meets contractual performance targets.
Communicate with ASM and coordinate with the sales team on opportunities.
Travel to customer sites and work safely in varying environments.
