Job summary

LA28 is hiring a Manager, GMS - Games Services Apps to drive the technology that powers the Games. You will move a prioritized roadmap across Medical, Logistics, and Architecture systems from planning through reliable operation for 2028.

You will partner with IOC, LA28 functional areas, providers, and venues to define requirements, manage deployments, and ensure end-to-end delivery with strong governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience administering technical software solutions.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end technical implementations with project-management skills.
• Experience with structured deployments, including user acceptance testing and release management.
• Fluent in project-management frameworks (PMP or Prince2) and tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the roadmap to implement key LA28 business solutions, including Medical, Logistics, and Architecture technology.
• Liaise with stakeholders to align initiatives with technology, and document use cases, requirements, and success criteria into clear project plans.
• Evaluate new technologies, develop RFPs, assess vendor responses, and identify needed system advancements.
• Support development and maintenance of integrations between enterprise tools and business systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders - the IOC, LA28 Functional Areas, external Service Providers, and venues - to plan the Master Schedule and Games delivery milestones.
• Support planning, testing, and integration of the games management applications, and recommend process improvements and automations.
• Triage system requests and provide day-to-day support, coordinating with providers on SLAs and with cyber security and architecture teams on assurance and risk mitigation.
• An intellectually curious, optimistic, patient, and kind approach to working with others.
• A self-starter who defines tasks, seeks feedback, and evolves the work.
