Job summary

LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games is seeking a Manager, GMS - Games Services Apps to help deliver technology that runs the Games. You will manage a prioritized roadmap spanning Medical, Logistics, and Architecture systems, turning requirements into reliable, integrated applications.

With 5+ years in hands-on technical software solutions, you will coordinate with IOC, venues, and external providers, drive test planning, and oversee release management to ensure on-time performance for a Games-scale

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience administering technical software solutions.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end technical implementations, with project-management skills to prioritize, control scope, manage risks, and deliver on time.
• Experience with structured deployments, including user acceptance testing and release management.
• Fluent in project-management frameworks (PMP or Prince2) and tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the roadmap to implement key LA28 business solutions, including Medical, Logistics, and Architecture technology.
• Liaise with stakeholders to align initiatives with technology, and document use cases, requirements, and success criteria into clear project plans.
• Evaluate new technologies, develop RFPs, assess vendor responses, and identify needed system advancements.
• Support development and maintenance of integrations between enterprise tools and business systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders - the IOC, LA28 Functional Areas, external Service Providers, and venues - to plan the Master Schedule and Games delivery milestones.
• Support planning, testing, and integration of the games management applications, and recommend process improvements and automations.
• Triage system requests and provide day-to-day support, coordinating with providers on SLAs and with cyber security and architecture teams on assurance and risk mitigation.
