Job summary
Udio seeks a full-stack scientist to pioneer quantitative research at the intersection of research, engineering, and product. You will leverage large proprietary music datasets to advance music generation and drive new revenue streams for artists and fans.
You will design evaluation frameworks, own the data roadmap end-to-end, build scalable infrastructure, and promote scientific rigor across the company. This is a leadership-first quantitative research role.
Qualifications
- Deep quantitative expertise with a PhD or 5+ years in industry.
- Autonomy to own greenfield research domains and undefined product categories.
- Production-ready coding ability and collaboration in a research codebase.
- Excellent scientific communication across researchers, engineers, product and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and own evaluation/optimization frameworks for frontier music models.
- Own data roadmap end-to-end, formulate questions and run experiments.
- Build robust data processing systems and integrate with research/product stacks.
- Promote scientific rigor and share results across the company.
