Job summary

Wisy is seeking an exceptional engineering leader to guide a growing team in the US (remote). You will write code weekly while owning platform architecture, standards, and the growth of engineers around you.

The role blends technical leadership with customer-facing responsibilities, demanding strong systems thinking and a bias for action. You will collaborate with the founders on roadmap, drive end-to-end ownership, and shape the product and pitch in customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack development with Python/TypeScript/React, AWS exposure.
• Leadership experience: guiding engineers and setting direction.
• Ability to own architecture and engineering standards end-to-end.
• Strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the platform and decide what to build or retire.
• Contribute hands-on with coding and oversee critical system components.
• Set and enforce engineering quality, testing, observability, and release processes.
• Grow the team through hiring, mentoring, and feedback.
• Own lifecycle from development to production support and evolution.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity within the team.
• Engage with customers for discovery, architecture reviews, and security/compliance.
