Job summary

RB Global is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the team responsible for the company’s administrative and reporting tools. This role drives the full stack web experience and collaborates with UX/UI, product, and design to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.

You will mentor developers, optimize performance, and guide architecture decisions across Java EE backend and Angular frontend in an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years enterprise web development experience.
• 3+ years leading teams of software developers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology stack.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE backend and Angular frontend.
• Proven ability to optimize SQL performance.

Responsibilities

• Design/Manage implementation of overall product and service integration architecture.
• Prioritize/Manage development effort required to fulfill product feature requests.
• Define/Design architecture/solutions, working with enterprise architects and the Manager, Software Engineering to create scalable/robust web applications.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Translate and code automation scripts to test, maintain, and monitor solutions; collaborate with DevOps to deploy to production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
