Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a full-stack developer to rapidly prototype Command and Control systems. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to bridge gaps in human-machine warfighting capabilities, delivering end-to-end software solutions in high-stakes environments.

The role emphasizes system design, API and UI development, and leadership to guide a team of developers while ensuring secure, maintainable code and strong documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or related field; 5+ years of full-stack experience preferred.
• Experience with full-stack web development, game development, or application development (React preferred).
• Ability to work in a team focused on rapid prototyping and collaboration with DoD-related stakeholders.

• Rapidly design, develop, and deploy databases, backend APIs, and user-interface applications.
• Lead implementation of approved designs; test, debug, optimize, and maintain software throughout its lifecycle.
• Establish and uphold code quality through reviews, automated testing, secure practices, CI/CD, and debt management.
