LaraBench is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Lead/Tech Lead) to own high-impact features from scoping with product to live deployment. You will mentor engineers, advocate for efficient processes, and push for data-driven decisions in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

The role emphasizes architecture discipline, hands-on coding, and effective collaboration with product, design, and operations to deliver robust systems powered by AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software for product companies.
• Senior Software Engineer or equivalent with cross-functional team experience.
• Experience in SaaS/B2B environments and rapid growth.
• Ability to architect systems and defend trade-offs under load.
• Familiarity with AI tooling, evaluation, and production concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature work end to end with PM and shape scope.
• Coach engineers and raise the team's level with real feedback.
• Drive process improvements and secure buy-in with data.
• Partner with EM and PM on roadmap and risk management.
• Measure outcomes with metrics and link shipped work to business goals.
