Job summary

LaraBench is seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer to join our distributed team and help build a next-generation platform for the hospitality industry. You will work on a new product from the ground up, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in Laravel 10+, PHP, MySQL, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Laravel 10+.
• Expertise in MySQL and database optimization.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools.
• Familiar with DDD, SOLID principles and customer-driven development.
• Proven ability to write automated tests (unit/integration/feature).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Laravel 10+.
• Architect scalable solutions following modern software engineering best practices.
• Develop and optimize complex database structures and queries in MySQL.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and deploy applications on Kubernetes.
• Integrate and leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve development workflows and product capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with a remote international team in an Agile environment.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and performance.
