Job summary

Brillio is seeking a hands-on Lead Full Stack Developer to drive design, development, and delivery of cloud-native applications. You will lead frontend and backend work across AWS, GCP, and data layers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

You will mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, and own end-to-end delivery with a focus on performance, observability, and quality in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems (REST, gRPC, Thrift).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).
• Strong AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch) plus Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CircleCI.
• Experience with testing (unit, integration, API, UI — Jest/Cypress) and observability (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals; familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and data layers.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with containerized platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Own features end to end from design through deployment and production support.
• Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews; drive testing, security, observability, and performance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers and architects.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders clearly.
