Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the architecture and delivery of advanced software platforms. You will lead across the full stack, mentor teams, and partner with DevOps to ensure scalable, secure, and observable systems.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure), and a strong background in design patterns, CI/CD, and distributed systems. Occasional travel and eligibility for a Secret clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with complex systems.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows, automated testing, and Agile software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities
